Besides beautify and balance the shapes of plants, pruning is an effort basically refers to the benefits of treatment or a particular purpose, as follows.
- Manage and direct growth
Pruning intentionally done if we want to maintain the natural shape of the plants concerned. Can also because we wanted a very different form of the plant from its original state. Pruning can also be done because we want a certain height.
- Stimulates growth of flower and fruit
naturally has the properties of plants able to survive (survival) when a branch or twig is deliberately harmed (cut / trimmed).
Saving the plant-
Without expected, sometimes the plants we love it a source of spread of disease to other plants. If plant diseases caused by fungal attack, an infectious bacteria or viruses, do not hesitate to cut / trim the affected area that feared infectious diseases in other crops. If you need to cut down on the base of the branch, leave the main stem.
It drains and healthful-
Branches and twigs that are damaged or dry it should be trimmed out. But sometimes we need more courage to prune, thin out the parts of plants that are still healthy, so that air, sunlight, water spray, or rain water to penetrate to all parts of the canopy as a whole. Trimming efforts are highly beneficial to healthy plant growth and fertility.
-Extend the age as well as rejuvenating
Plants are allowed to grow naturally as it is, at some point may experience malnutrition. So the act of rejuvenation pruning is an attempt at the same time prolongs the crops, especially in high-bushy plant.
